I wanted to take a moment and talk about the list of private classes that are being offered at the studio.  Currently, these classes are set up as private sessions, but when I see the interest of 3 or more people on a certain topic I will introduce it as a group class or workshop. 

 

Group classes will be cheaper, so if you would like to get a group of friends together to build a class of 3 or more we can discuss options. 

 

 

2 Photography lessons:  4 hours total.  Studio set up and Field Work.  $150

This is a great class if you are interested in the world of photography but do not know where to start or maybe you do not want to commit to the 8 lessons just yet.  This is broken up into two 2 hour sessions. The first will be held in the studio and discuss the basics such as composition, the types of photography, lighting... etc.  In the second class, we will be working on landscapes, architecture, and street photography getting out of the studio and into the world.  This will be an abridged version of the 8-week course    Camera phones are perfectly acceptable to use in this class. 

 

 

 

(4)    digital art lessons:   2.5 hours  $185.00 

In this class, you will be learning the basics of photoshop, and working on a Wacom tablet to create a solid portfolio piece.  (If you have an Ipad pro, we can also discuss working with Procreate). You will learn step by step what it takes to complete a project from start to finish, understand the software and technology involved, and create a piece of art you can be proud of.

(4)  acrylic painting  lessons:   2.5 hours  $185.00 

 

       (4)  watercolor painting  lessons:   2.5 hours  $185.00 

 

In the above classes, you will be learning the basics of the medium of choice, You will learn step by step what it takes to complete a project from start to finish, understand the materials and learn the terminology involved.  Creating a piece of art you can be proud of.

 

 

 

(4)    Art Journaling lessons:   2.5 hours  $185.00 

 

In this lesson, we will get in touch with not only our creative side but our emotional side. Creating an art journal is a healthy way to understand and tackle the emotions that live within us all. 

 

 

(4)  mixed media lessons:   2.5 hours  $250.00

Mixed media is the artform of using many different materials to make one piece. It's a fantastic way to explore how materials work together to create a beautiful piece of art that you can be proud of. 

 

 

(4)  encaustic  lessons:   2.5 hours  $250.00 

One of my favorite artforms,  encaustic is a beautiful way of working with heat and wax to create the ethereal images that you see below but you can add images to heighten the feel of the piece. You will not be disappointed in this class!  

 

 

(6)  creative explorer lessons:   2.5 hours  $265.00 

 

Can't decide? If you are new to the art world and would like to explore it all then this is the class for you. We will touch base on a little of everything that Amagination studios has to offer to discover your favorite! 

 

 

(4)  Photography lessons:   2.5 hours  $265.00 

With this class, we will go over a basic understanding of your equipment and photography,  the different types, and styles of photography, editing, lighting,  choosing the right images for your portfolio, and much much more.
